Day Rooms and Dining
There are three lounges, a large conservatory and the dining area.
We also have a consulting room which is used by the visiting doctor, chiropodist, community nurses and on Fridays the hairdresser. The room is freely available to residents at other timesand lends itself to private discussions and appointments. The main house is a three storey building served by two staircases and a speaking passenger lift.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms
We have thirty five bedrooms all having been decorated to individual style, as one would expect in a Grade ll Georgian mansion, no two rooms are the same. Where possible we decorate each bedroom according to personal taste, and residents are encouraged to bring their own items, keepsakes and photographs to make their rooms feel homely. Each room has a television, telephone with direct-dial number and call system, and most rooms are served by WiFi. One of our bedrooms is a suite with shower room, three other bedrooms have a shower room and another has a walk-in bath. All but two of our bedrooms have en-suite toilet and wash basin. We have newly refurbished bathrooms on the ground and top floors, the ground floor bathroom being a large wet room.
