We have had an eggcelent Easter here at Coxbench Hall. Our Easter celebrations started on Sunday 28th March when we made wreaths to be displayed around the home.
We then went onto making more decorations on Monday. Our egg decorating competition was on Tuesday and was very nearly a disaster as we had mixed the boiled eggs with the raw ones.
As usual on Wednesdays we have our ‘Coxbench Hall Bake off’, and of course for Easter we made Easter eggs, although I think we enjoyed licking our spoons more than making the eggs if we are honest.
Thursday the 1st of April, we made our Easter bonnets for our traditional parade on Easter Sunday, luckily no one managed to sabotage the teams creation this year.
The long weekend was soon upon us and good Friday we had Easter picture bingo along with the Big Fat Easter Quiz.
Saturday, we made our own bunny napkin holders and learnt how to fold napkins into bunny shapes.
Sunday was the big day and we all came down to the Easter bunny having left us all a Cadbury crème egg Easter egg on our dining room tables, we had our service and bonnet parade in the morning followed by a beautiful meal with mini egg cheesecake for dessert.
The chocolate kept on coming throughout Monday, when we enjoyed the chocolate that had been generously gifted to us from the young offenders who also brought us gifts at Christmas.
