At Coxbench Hall we understand that the decision to move into residential care, and the process of finding a care home, can be a daunting prospect whether it be short-term, permanent, or even just day-time care that is required. We would normally welcome prospective residents and their families to join us for a walk around the home and beautiful grounds to experience the friendly and caring atmosphere. Ordinarily we love an informal chat over coffee so you can ask any questions you may have, and discuss any concerns. Our Home was last inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on 27th February 2018 and the CQC Report was published on 8th June 2018 giving a good rating on all five standards and overall.

Extract from the summary:

People felt safe living at Coxbench Hall. There were processes and practices in place to ensure people were safeguarded from the risk of abuse. People received their medicines as prescribed. Staff worked with people, relatives and health professionals to identify risks and take steps to minimise harm. Risk assessments were tailored to each person’s needs, and staff knew what action to take to reduce risks associated with people’s health conditions. People felt supported to maintain their independence. People were kept safe from risks associated with the environment.

2020, 2021and 2022 have been incredible years with Covid-19 dominating much of what has happened at Coxbench Hall.

The Coxbench team has worked hard to put into place policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and protect the welfare of our staff.

We continue to work with appropriate Government agencies to enhance safety.
