At Coxbench Hall we understand that the decision to move into residential care, and the process of finding a care home, can be a daunting prospect whether it be short-term, permanent, or even just day-time care that is required. We would normally welcome prospective residents and their families to join us for a walk around the home and beautiful grounds to experience the friendly and caring atmosphere. Ordinarily we love an informal chat over coffee so you can ask any questions you may have, and discuss any concerns. We’ll also invite you to come and stay with us for a full day, completely without charge or obligation, so that you can meet the Ladies and Gentlemen who have chosen Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home for their care and the team, sample the food and test the atmosphere.

Our Home was last inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) on 29th January 2024 and the CQC Report was published on 23 April 2024 giving a good rating on all five standards and overall.

Extract from the summary:

We spoke with 3 people during the site visit and made calls to the relatives of 8 people on 7 March 2024. People, or their relatives, who we spoke with provided consistently positive feedback about Coxbench Hall. People felt safe in the home and knew who to talk to if they had any concerns. People were supported by staff who they knew. There were enough staff available to meet people’s needs. Staff were trained and assessed to be competent to support people safely. People told us staff were caring and treated them as individuals. People were supported to pursue hobbies of interest to them and maintain relationships with their friends and relatives. Staff supported people to make everyday choices.

Covid-19

2020 – 2022 were unprecedented years with Covid-19 dominating much of what had happened at Coxbench Hall.

The Coxbench team has worked hard to put into place policies and procedures, that to this day, ensure the safety and well-being of our residents and protect the welfare of our staff.

We continue to work with appropriate Government agencies to enhance safety.
