The main house is a three storey building with comfortable lounges and dining rooms at the heart of the home. Other areas of the home are accessed by wide corridors, a speaking passenger lift and staircases at both ends of the building making it easy to access your private bedroom.
The main care office is conveniently located so that residents can easily access support and information at any time.
Day Rooms and Dining
There are plenty of different rooms to explore at Coxbench Hall with the main rooms comprising of the Entertainment Lounge, The Snug, Conservatory and The Library. The main lounges and conservatory boast floor to ceiling length windows giving to rooms plenty of natural light and a wonderful atmosphere.
The Entertainment Lounge has a feature fireplace and a large smart TV providing residents with access to Netflix, Now TV and On-Demand along with range of DVD’s to enjoy.

The Library is the perfect place to get comfortable and explore your imagination with a book from our collection, or catch up with the daily news from the complimentary newspapers that are available. This lounge also has double French doors giving assessable access for all to the gardens.

Our Snug is a lower lit, cosy area, to watch the world go by and enjoy all the coming and goings of the home and it also has a relaxing fish tank and record player.

The Conservatory is our largest room and frames views across the landscaped gardens. Having thermal blinds the conservatory stays cool during summer and warm during winter making it the perfect place to host the majority of our activities as multi-ability exercises, quizzes and carpet bowls.



The Dining Room has restaurant style seating to promotes a social and lively atmosphere. If you would like more information on the catering at Coxbench Hall please Contact us.



We also have a Consulting Room which is used by the visiting doctor, chiropodist, community nurses and each Thursday the hairdresser. The room is freely available to residents at other times and lends itself to private discussions and appointments.
Communal Bathrooms
We have bathrooms on the ground and top floors, the ground floor bathroom being a large wet room.



Gardens
Our extensive landscaped gardens are designed for everyone to enjoy. If for you that means turning your hand to a little light gardening in the raised flower or vegetable beds, relaxing in the sunshine on one of the well positioned patios or going for a walk, we have really have something to suit you. When spending time outside in the garden we have specific pendants which we suggest residents carry, when pressed call the home so you can talk to us even if its just to request a cup of tea or ice cream.
The Garden has 3 accessible paved walks for everyone to be able to take in the whole garden. These provide access to most areas ensuring that everyone can make use of the garden in their own way. The garden also boasts a sensory area, woodland walk with wild flowers, several ponds and an aviary. The orchard is was planted in 2022 and is still growing to its capacity this boasts orange, pear and apple trees.
There is also a path up into the woodland for those wanting to stretch their legs a little further into the wilderness in our own private woodland.
