We have four Close Care Apartments at Coxbench Hall Residential Care Home provide retirement living in a secure, picturesque and convenient location.
Set in our extensive landscaped gardens, Coxbench Hall is just 5 miles from the centre of Derby by bus or car with access to all the amenities, shopping and entertainment that provides. Locally there is the village of Little Eaton with Post Office, grocery shop, cafes and public houses which are also on the bus route.
The Close Care apartment itself comprises of a well-lit lounge with gas fire and surround, spacious bedroom. The bathroom features a full suite with toilet, wash basin, bath and separate shower cubicle. The kitchen benefits from electric hob and oven with space for appliances and there is a small closet for storage.
Your new home comes unfurnished to allow you to bring your familiar items of furniture. We can of course assist with furnishing your new apartment at an extra cost.
Peace of mind
Living on the grounds of the retirement home means that help is always nearby if you need it. Your apartment comes with 24-hour assistance and an optional daily phone call or visit from one of the members of the care team.
Social and well-being activities
You will have full use of the grounds, so you can take a delightful stroll through the yew tree walk or sit and have a think on one of the many benches or patio areas. You also have a parking space reserved solely for your use or use of your visitors.
The main home regularly has entertainers such as the walking club, exercise classes, games and visits from the local nursery and you are more than welcome to join the merriment.
You can also choose to have one of our home-cooked three course meals in the main dining room for a small fee.
We have weekly visits from a hairdresser and you can book an appointment with her in the main home.
An optician visits the home annually, the chiropodist quarterly and medical professionals from the GP visit weekly. You can book an appointment with them in the main home.
You can arrange for your newspaper to be delivered to the main home for collection.
Services and pricing
The apartment has a rental charge of £850 per calendar month.
There is a Service charge which covers maintenance of grounds, windows cleaning, use of 24 hour call system and water rates. This is £59 per calendar month.
Gas is charged quarterly on your account.
Other utilities such as electric and telephone are all billed directly to the tenant by the supplier. Council Tax is also charged directly to the tenant by Amber Valley Borough Council (Band A).
